On July 20, 1969, humans walked on the moon for the first time. The Florida Orchestra will celebrate the 50th anniversary of this historic moment with a youth concert that explores space travel and music about the skies above us. This concert will feature stunning visuals from NASA’s exploration of the lunar surface and introductions to the instrument families of the orchestra. TFO will provide a Teacher Guide to help with preparations in the classroom, so students can imagine, sing, and dance along with this interactive concert.
