Starkey Ranch K-8’s Drama Program, part of the school’s Academy for the Arts, inspires creativity and confidence through hands-on theater experiences. Students explore the art of performance, storytelling, and collaboration as they bring characters and stories to life on stage.

Willy Wonka Jr. is a musical based on Roald Dahl’s classic story Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It follows kind-hearted Charlie Bucket, who wins a golden ticket to tour the mysterious Willy Wonka’s world-famous chocolate factory. Alongside four other lucky children, Charlie encounters a series of magical rooms, wild inventions, and important life lessons about honesty, kindness, and imagination—all guided by the eccentric candy maker himself.
